How It Works:

Volumetric mobile mixer trucks batch, measure, mix and dispense all from one unit. Volumetric mobile trucks can produce exactly the amount of concrete needed when it is needed at any time. This means no WASTE as you pay only for the amount you pour. NO HOT LOADS. There is no risk of premature stiffening of concrete if delays are encountered. Our trucks are able to provide smaller quantities of concrete from one yard to eight yards in one trip. Volumetric has the ability to do continuance concrete pours. Volumetric is different than the standard barrel concrete truck. A Volumetric concrete truck doesn't begin to mix until on site. The concrete you receive from Anchor, "The Concrete Maker" is FRESH, QUALITY CONCRETE. Once Anchor, "The Concrete Maker" arrives to the job site, the machine mixes the materials to produce the exact amount of concrete needed.

In the colder months we are able to provide hot water on our trucks. We also are able to provide added ingredients such as retardant, accelerant, and air entrainment. These added ingredients MUST be asked for at the time of scheduling. Any ingredient added is an additional charge and not included in the price per yard of the concrete.

Although there is almost no waste, we do require, from our customers a place on the property for a minimal wash out to clean up. We cannot wash out in wheel barrels or dump trailers. The augers on these trucks are gravity-fed and must wash out low to the ground. If there is not a place to wash out an additional environmental fee will be charged to wash out back at the plant.

We deliver to all of the seven (7) Hampton Roads cities. We also deliver to the outside rural areas to include Franklin, Isle of Wight, Courtland, Gloucester, York, Tabb, Williamsburg, Ivor, Smithfield, and many other counties. Any delivery over a 30 mile radius, one-way will be required to pay a NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT which will be taken over the telephone for a delivery fee and fuel surcharge. If the customer does not call to cancel, prior to 24 hours of their scheduled pour, the deposit is forfeited. NO EXCEPTIONS EXCEPT RAIN!

Our trucks are metered. We bill in quarter yard increments. We have a one (1) yard minimum when placing an order. Please use our concrete calculator to determine the amount of cubic yards of concrete you will need for your pour. Remember the old adage in carpentry, measure twice and cut once. The same is applicable to measuring cubic yards of concrete. This is important to each of our customers as we have scheduled pours thereafter and we need to ensure that we have enough concrete to provide the the next customer. Payment is taken via credit card or cash on site after the driver has completed the pour. The person whose name is on the credit card MUST be on site to sign authorizing payment.
